Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter

I found a copy of the book above at an estate sale today. My cover states "by Beatrix Potter and Mrs. Rabbit faces right rather than left. The binding is in poor condition but the rest of the book is in good condition. I think the Control Number is 0703 but it's hard to read. An inscription inside the cover is dated 1921. Can you give me any more information on this book? It would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Dale Bowden

Pirated editions

There were many pirated Peter Rabbit books published in the United States because the British rights didn't extend here.. The book above is an example. I couldn't find your book with a quick search but what  you'll need is the publisher, which may be in small print near the number if it isn't obvious. Some people collect these editions, so they aren't as common as you would think.

Whoops I deleted your comment

Sorry, I deleted my duplicate comment and it took yours with it. There is actually a new bibliography available through Oak Knoll press on pirated editions of Peter Rabbit. I have have sent for it. Spendy, but you might be able to see it through interlibrary loan. It will have your Peter Rabbit.
