Welcome to Old Children's Books, selling children's literature and picture books online since 1994. We stock more than 10,000 scarce, collectible and out-of-print books, for readers, teachers and collectors.
Most catalogues are 32 pages, softcover, with around 20 coloured illustrations by the artist.. The prefaces and commentaries are written by knowlegeable authors, and the variety is amazing. The 32 page catalogues cost $16, or less if you become a museum member. The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, Massachussetts is the first of its kind in this country. Visit their website: https://www.carlemuseum.org/. Even though you might save a dollar or two on some of these catalogues elsewhere, it is important, if you care at all about children's books, to support the Museum.
